An Enchanted Evening for Melissa

Post Type

Over the past months my team and I have had the chance to work at a multitude of premiere locations all over the Philadelphia area. From hotels to country clubs and private homes, we have been non-stop! I had a quick minute and wanted to fill you in on the happenings here before the weekend is in full swing.

I have been on wedding and party overload and have loved every minute of it! One of the many highlights was Melissa’s bat mitzvah. When I met with Melissa, I knew that her bat mitzvah was going to be a dream event. Her favorite color is pink and she wanted her bat mitzvah to be something she remembered for a long time.

Melissa is glamorous for her age and mentioned that she wanted crystals and an abundance of flowers. With these requests, I knew that I would be able to make her bat mitzvah dream come true. After months of planning, I decided that soft pinks and whites would be perfect for Melissa, and candlelight was a must.
Green Valley Country Club was transformed into Melissa’s dream of an enchanted fairy tale by draping the entire room in white satin fabric with pink uplights. I special ordered flowers from all over the world. By using large fragrant roses, tulips, stock, and orchids the fairy tale was complete.

Traditional designs were conceived to showcase an overwhelming amount of flowers. Large arrangements on various tables consisted of square top structures that were created with an abundance of florals. Satin and sheer ribbons extended from the eight-foot structures with bases of quilted ribbons and floral arrangements. Also, umbrella-like structures, hanging flower balls of orchids, and voluminous strands of crystals filled the room. Each table was dressed in a floor length soft pink linen with custom rosette pink linen caps. Truly an amazing day for a princess!
