And so, we dazzled them!

Welcome to my blog! What a great way to start off the New Year!
I just got back from a wonderful vacation in Italy! While sipping on delicious red wines in the countryside, I couldn’t help but think of all the wonderful accomplishments of 2009.

2009 was the year we dazzled the public, even in a recession! Countless brides, families, bar and bat mitzvah boys/girls and honorees graced our studio to plan to-die-for events! Of course, I enjoyed designing all of them! Some of the highlights were adorned with crystals, hand made custom table linens and hanging chandeliers. The last year combines a sense of old world elegance with a contemporary feel. Now, doesn’t that just sound like a dream?

Max and Alex’s bar mitzvah was based off of the Sukkot, the Jewish Harvest. As you can see, hand-sewn leaves and bundles of branches were only some of the ornate detail that went into this yearlong process. We received great feedback and 2010 looks like a bar/bat mitzvah year!

Last but not least. Rachel and Blake’s wedding was a blast! All Rachel requested was bling. Every last arrangement had some type of crystal or diamond strategically placed inside it. Let’s not forget her bouquet! Diamonds were put into the flowers and on the ribbon, which tied the whole look together.

I hope my clients enjoyed planning their events as much as I did. LFD misses you already. Let’s plan another event soon!
